Our mission:

At Empowering Men Initiative CIC, our mission is to support, uplift and advocate for male victims of Domestic Abuse, an often overlooked and underserved group. We believe every man deserves safety, dignity and access to compassionate care. Through direct support and awareness campaigns, we aim to break the silence and stigma surrounding male victimhood.

We include peer support, outreach, mentoring and workshops to engage all service users regardless of their protected characteristics.

Collaboration is at the heart of our approach. We actively seek partnerships with organisations that prioritise male victims in their core services. Together, we can create opportunities that would not exist in isolation—building a stronger, more inclusive support network. By uniting our efforts, we amplify impact, share resources, and drive meaningful change for those who need it most.

Our Core Services

Peer Support group

Held in the social prescribing hub, Barbers Avenue, Rawmarsh on 2nd and 4th Mondays of every month, the Peer Support Group is a chance for male victims and survivors of domestic abuse to share their experiences and empower each other to grow.

Advocacy

Support of victims becomes pointless if the victims themselves are unable or unwilling to ask for help. We work tirelessly to try and raise awareness of the bias and stigma for male victims of domestic abuse. We hope that with more awareness and more conversation, victims will open up more.

One to one support

Our key workers are here to offer tailored support for housing, mental health referrals, private and confidential conversation, signposting to other essential services and even helping you fill out forms or attend appointments with you.
